Lake Audy

Lake Audy Road is closed at the Lake Audy Dam Road to the south and at the Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation Reserve 61A to the east. Barriers and signs will be in place to prevent vehicle access.

There will be no overnight stays at Lake Audy in 2022. Refunds will be issued for oTENTik reservations. There will be no camping for the rest of the year.

The Lake Audy day use, picnic area, boat launch, and bison enclosure will be closed until at least Labour Day weekend through toMonday, September 5th. The dam structure will remain closed until it can be assessed for safety.

Highway 19 – including access to trail heads and Whirlpool Lake Campground

Manitoba Provincial Highway 19 is closed from Lake Katherine to the East Gate until at least August long weekend through toMonday, August 1st.

This closure applies to pedestrians, cyclists, and all other vehicles or means of transportation. Access to the trail heads and to Whirlpool Lake Campground are included in this closure.

Trails will be assessed regularly and reopened as conditions permit. When open, trails will be accessible from the east side of the park, from Manitoba Provincial Highway 10 and from Manitoba Provincial Highway 19 between Highway 10 and Lake Katherine. They will not be open from elsewhere on Manitoba Provincial Highway 19 while that road is closed.

The Wasagaming campground, townsite, and businesses are operating as usual.
