The GACC will be open early November 2026 due to the new ice plant installation.

- Drop In Fee - $5
- Private /Birthday Party Ice Rental - $110 per hour ( see information below)
- Skate Sharpening - $5 ( Sparx Sharpener)
- Skate Sharpening 10 pair card - $45

Public Skating Times
FAMILY PASSES, SKATING PASSES AND DROPIN FEES FOR PUBLIC SKATING MUST BE PAID TO THE RECREATION DIRECTOR or FACILITY CARETAKER PRIOR TO GOING ON THE ICE. THESE PASSES WILL ALLOW YOU TO SKATE DURING PUBLIC SKATING.

Public skating times are scheduled as per ice availability. Sticks and pucks are allowed at public skating. Parents for youth under 16 must be supervised.
The GACC is home to 14 hockey teams and various other users. The GACC has a very full schedule which we are so happy to have ! Please note that ice slot schedules change daily. Public skating is scheduled upon ice availability and staffing availability. Private ice bookings are available when there is available slots. Please call Jill at 204-572-4072 Monday to Friday to find out what slots are available and to book ice.
Private rentals are also available.

Cost for hockey rentals....
Grand Plains Minor Hockey - $110 per hour
Other Associations and rentals - $120 per hour
Private Rental for birthday party - $110 per hour
Summer Ice Surface Rental - $75 per hour or $350 for the day
Private booking or birthday party $110.00 per hour (taxes included), THESE BOOKINGS MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO ICE USEAGE . You must let the Recreation Director know if a dressing room or lobby space is needed for your event. All garbage from parties must be cleaned up after rental.
All cancellations must have 24 hours notice, if a cancellation is less than 24hours there will still be an charge. If cancellation is weather related then charge will be waived.
